My Mafia Man

Here I sit, crying on the cold hard floor, covered in my parents’ blood, screaming for them to come back to me. I am sobbing on the floor when I hear heavy feat walking towards me, I try to get up and run but 2 large, firm hands grip me tightly on the shoulders. I start to kick and scream at the hands but it hurts. The man rips my head back and whispers in my ear, “Don’t bother fighting, little girl your parents are DEAD.” It was those words that I longed not to hear, but it hit me. My parents are DEAD they were MURDERED in front of me.

I started screaming and kicking again at the person holding me *I need to get out of her* I think to myself. Eventually, I hear another voice, “let her go, Rafe” the voice says in a low husky voice, right at that moment the firm hands dropped me and I hit the floor … HARD. The pain shoots up through my side, I manage to stand myself up and put on a tough face, “Who are you?!” I yell into the shadows. “You don’t want to know,” the husky voice replies I try and hear where the voice is coming from but I can’t. I hear a small chuckle, *I swear I have heard that laugh before*

I think to myself. I am starting to get scared and desperate, “Please, just let me out, I won’t tell anyone what happened. I haven’t even your faces!”

There is silence for a few seconds as if he is thinking about it, then a chuckle, “not so tough anymore, huh? but no. No, you can’t go, you see, I need you to complete my plan.” he declares as he finally steps into the dim light, now I can see his face, “no…” i whisper

“yes”, he responds.

I feel like I am about to cry, but instead…”MASON?!!?! YOU DID THIS?! WHY?! WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO

TO DESERVE THIS?!” I was FURIOUS, but I was also disappointed, „We took you in, we made you FAMILY. And THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?! WHY MASON… why?” I look at him with tears in my eyes, my voice cracks, “why?”

“Your family never loved me, they only ever loved you. I was left to look after myself. Your parents didn’t care and I started to wonder how I became into your parent’s care. That’s when I found out, YOUR parents killed MY PARENTS!
